Our motorcycle shock rebuild services are priced between $115.00 and $450.00 depending on the model of shock – Wilbers and OEM brands such as Kayaba (KYB), Showa, WP, Marzocchi, ESA Shocks, and whether they are Mono or Twin shocks.
The service includes cleaning of the shock (extremely dirty shocks require an additional $20.00 cleaning charge), disassembling and inspecting, installing new seals (additional parts are charged extra in some cases), filling with fresh oil and recharging the shocks with nitrogen gas.
We can also service so called non-rebuildable OEM shocks and make them serviceable for the future. Rebuilding shock absorbers including ESA, electronically adjustable shocks, gas emulsion, reservoir, most hydraulic shocks, as well as OEM shocks from Aprilia, BMW, KTM, Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Moto Guzzi, Husqvarna, Indian, and Triumph shocks, just to name a few, are very much what we do. The warranty period on our rebuild services is 1 year, applied to the labor and parts installed by us.
In the event that there are damaged parts due to material defects and/or our workmanship after your shock is serviced, the parts will be replaced at no cost during our 1-year warranty period.
If shocks you have purchased from us or our authorized dealers are damaged due to material defects and/or workmanship, the parts will be replaced at no cost during the warranty period of the shocks. For Wilbers, this would be 5 years from purchase. The customer will be responsible for shipping the item to EPM Wilbers, but the repair and return shipping is free of cost.
